Shey & Glen's Perfect Penny's Hill Winery Wedding

April weddings are always beautiful, with their warm Autumn tones and temperate weather. Saturday was a little bit extra special, with extra perfect weather, clear blue skies, a golden sunshine glow and the wedding of Shey & Glen at Penny's Hill. I met Shey briefly just before the wedding, looking absolutely stunning. Elly & Elm Events had done a wonderful job setting up a stunning backdrop for the wedding ceremony, with gorgeous florals and rustic touches, and Glen waited excitedly by it.

The ceremony way perfect and unique, with family and friends toasting the couple and eager to congratulate them with heart felt hugs and smiles. Shey and Glen chose the absolute perfect time of day to get married, the sun was low and dipping down to the horizon. Creating long shadows to draw interesting creative lines, a soft glow that wrapped around everyone and beautiful warm tones. We finished just on sunset, as I headed in to the old, rustic barn to photograph the wedding reception setup, again beautifully styled by Elly & Elm Events. Though dark inside, the fairy lights and pops of colour from pretty flowers provided an ambient, and romantic mood.

To start the visuals of this blog post, I've done something a little bit different. Before scrolling down to the sample of photos highlighting the wedding, please sit back with a nice warm cuppa to watch the short and sweet wedding photography slideshow video above. A nice little snippet of the day against soothing, folk tunes. Watch in full screen and HD if possible. xx (As always, credits for the amazing wedding vendors at the end of the post).

Congratulations guys! xx
