Ten years after I photographed Katie and Chris’s wedding at Serafino, we returned with their two girls for a relaxed family session filled with races, cuddles, beautiful chaos and one spectacular Port Willunga sunset.

Golden light through the gum trees, old stone ruins, dancing and two very good dogs: Court and Lachie’s engagement session at The Pines in Kapunda had room for all of it.

Three generations together for the Ng family’s portraits at Port Willunga beach and Martin’s Barn. Grandparent cuddles, laughter on the sand and time for each family to have photographs of their own.

Kristine and Marti’s post-wedding couple portraits took us from Mount Barker to Bridgewater Mill, with piggybacks, gorgeous old stone buildings and plenty of laughs along the way. And somehow, we managed to find two tunnels!

Sharon and Tom’s family portraits in Adelaide started at home, dogs included, before we headed to the park for a play. Shoulder rides, upside-down grins and three generations together.

After photographing their wedding, I caught up with Dan and Caity for maternity portraits at our little farm in Auburn. Their dogs, Tilly and Sage, joined us for a wander through the scrub and some gorgeous golden light.

A relaxed newborn session at home in Clare, with plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles. We followed the beautiful late-afternoon light and let these early days as a family of three unfold.

Enna and Freddy’s wedding at Sinclair’s Gully in Norton Summit was sweet, joyful and gloriously colourful. Set beneath the gums in the Adelaide Hills, their ceremony was framed by the most incredible florals in vivid pink, coral, peach and orange. They looked spectacular against the soft green bushland—and somehow made the whole woodland setting feel even more alive. From Freddy’s emotional reaction as Enna arrived to their triumphant just-married celebration, there was so much genuine happiness to photograph.

There was something immediately special about Emily and Nathan’s wedding at Templeton on Murray. Set among the gardens and native bushland of the Riverland, their day felt beautifully relaxed from the very beginning—less about fuss and formality, and more about gathering all their favourite people in one place. They were married overlooking the Murray River, surrounded by wild native flowers, huge gums and even a few curious alpacas wandering nearby.

If you need proof that a wedding can feel deeply meaningful without being overly formal, Beth and Imti’s colourful celebration at Hastwell & Lightfoot Winery is it. There was confetti, incredible food, golden-hour portraits, one truly next-level dessert table and a very enthusiastic dance floor. But more than anything, this day was about people. With many guests travelling from Sydney to celebrate with them, Beth and Imti planned a relaxed McLaren Vale wedding that gave them as much time as possible with the people they loved. And those people brought big friend-group energy.

Georgia and Lachie’s Ayers House wedding in Adelaide was a beautiful mix of classic elegance, heartfelt connection and wonderfully low-fuss joy. They described themselves as “two massive introverts and homebodies” stepping outside their comfort zones to celebrate with their favourite people – and honestly, that feeling came through in the loveliest way. Their ceremony was held in the Ballroom at Ayers House, with portraits at Carrick Hill before the ceremony, amid the slightest drizzle of rain.
