Hi, I’m Sarah.
I’m a moth. It’s the light for me.
I’ve been photographing weddings for 15 years, and I still get a little buzz from making a frame that feels unexpected: a slice of colour, an interesting reflection, a bit of movement.
I love experimenting, but the clever stuff has to earn its place. If it doesn’t add to the feeling or story of the photograph, I leave it out.
Three things you didn’t ask. But here we are:
✦ At my own wedding, I threw out the rulebook: cheese and beer with our guests before the ceremony, paella on the grass (no chairs required), and belting out Bohemian Rhapsody to close the night.
✦ Painting taught me to see light. Filmmaking taught me to look for story.
✦ Off camera, I’m nose to the dirt hunting tiny wildflowers as we restore the scrub on our 65 acres and dream up a native food forest.

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE
The day is yours. I’ll help you remember it.
Some couples bring me a spreadsheet; others bring a date and plans for beer and dumplings. I love both. Tell me what matters, what feels daunting and what you’d rather skip. I’ll help sort the photo logistics and family-photo wrangling, with enough breathing room to eat and spend time with your people.
On the day, I’m a very enthusiastic extra human in your corner.
I’ll get to know your people, step in when a hand is useful, and keep the photo bits moving without making the whole day about photos. If being photographed makes you wonder what on earth to do with your arms, I’ll sort the T-Rex situation, help you feel bloody good, and make some portraits you’ll be excited to see.
Then you can get straight back to the hugs, food, dance floor or whatever your version of a wedding looks like. Later, the photos will bring you back to the moments you lived and show you a few you missed.
