With 15 years of experience photographing weddings, elopements and families across South Australia, I know how to help people feel comfortable without turning your session into a performance. I’ll offer easy, natural guidance when you need it, then leave plenty of room for you to be yourselves.
I care about beautiful light and artful photographs, but just as much about the people in them, having a genuinely good time.

How it feels
It should feel like hanging out - not performing.
I believe that the best photographs happen when you feel comfortable enough to stop thinking about the camera, and start being yourselves. I provide calm guidance when you need it, find the beautiful light, and rescue you from wondering what to do with your hands.
I love light. Previous wedding and portrait clients will testify how excited I get when I spy a small pocket of light amongst the shadows (or as I like to call them, sun puddles). I adore every aspect of photography, and I hope to share that infectious love with you!

I’m a sensitive introverted-extrovert. Which is a very useful thing to be at weddings. I can happily chat with your grandma, settle nervous people, wrangle a group photo, laugh with the kids, and then disappear quietly into the background when the moment doesn’t need me.
I love light, real people, long drives through South Australia, our wonderfully scruffy land regeneration project at Dennison Scrub, and photographs that feel like little time machines.

There was something immediately special about Emily and Nathan’s wedding at Templeton on Murray. Set among the gardens and native bushland of the Riverland, their day felt beautifully relaxed from the very beginning—less about fuss and formality, and more about gathering all their favourite people in one place. They were married overlooking the Murray River, surrounded by wild native flowers, huge gums and even a few curious alpacas wandering nearby.
