Amber & Ken's Relaxed Myponga Wedding

On Saturday I took a lovely drive down South to Brooklyn Farm in the rolling hills of Myponga. Where I was greeted by the biggest smile from lovely bride Amber as, dressed in a towel and surrounded by loved ones, family, friends and her groom Ken, everyone put together their finishing touches for a heart felt wedding ceremony.

I'm fairly sure I didn't see the smile leave Amber's face or the love leave Ken's eyes for the entire day. It was one of the most heart warming and relaxed weddings I've had the pleasure of capturing. No stress, nothing forced, just a lovely afternoon full of joy, cricket games, beautiful conversations and nostalgic touches of Amber's Nanna's pearls and decor touches. The decor was lovely! Amber's mum made the beautiful bunting, and on top of the visual feast, Ken (an amazing chef) along with his best man put together a delicious spread of food.

While Ken put the finishing touches on the meal, Amber and I snuck up the hill and were greeted by 3 incredibly friendly horses! After a gentle introduction, the beautiful creatures followed us through the grass, and of course had a go at eating Amber's beautiful bouquet of natives. (Don't worry, the bouquet escaped uneaten). As the photography came to and end with the meal beginning, I know that the rest of the evening would have been filled with just as much warmth, joy and love.

Congratulations Amber & Ken! xx
