What's one of the best things about Winter? Hot, smokey log fires and warm gatherings of company around them. Simon & Linda's winter wedding at Sinclair Gully's Winery in Norton Summit was full of all of the very best stuff. The weather was kind and we enjoyed beautiful sunshine all day long. From the scrummy looking tapas & Paella from Juan's Paella to the ample wine, good vibes and laughter ringing out across the gully, this wedding was just perfect. Congrats Simon & Linda, hope you guys have an awesome honeymoon!

You guys! I had soooo much trouble not just uploading this entire wedding! Perfect low sun light + the beach + grungy Port Adelaide + a gorgeous couple + their amazing family = an absolutely stunning and intimate beach wedding. Amy, I can't believe you made that amazing bouquet! You were just full of such beautiful ideas and inspiration for your beautiful, little wedding. And I still can't get over that amazing, yellow sunset... hope you guys had the most perfect day. And enjoy your amazing destination wedding in Bali soon. xx

On Saturday at the Port Club in Alberton, Kirsten & Pat married with a beautiful ceremony, their favourite football team colours and their wonderful family & friends. There wasn't a dry eye as Kirsten made her way down through the stands to her future husband. Following the perfectly sweet ceremony, we all had a lot of fun! Kicking the footy, running through banners, frolicking in the slowly setting sun.

Miranda & Simon's wedding on Saturday made me think of rustic rockabilly. Hosted at the amazingBungaree Station, a working sheep farm surrounded by wineries. Everything about their day was unique, casual and completely them. Miranda & her girl friends prepared at the lodge, surrounded by millipedes and spiders (even a colourful mouse spider joined the party!), an awesome outdoor fire place and lots of yummy nibbles. It was very Aussie outback with a bit of glam.

On Saturday, the gorgeous Ellen & Andrew married in a place that was very special to them. Having had their very first date at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, and as frequent visitors, it seemed the perfect spot for them to be married. Married by the lovely Richard from I Do Forever, the cold rain and drizzle couldn't stop these guys from celebrating their love in such a beautiful garden.

On Monday, their 10 year anniversary to the day, high school sweethearts Verity & Ryan tied the knot in their own unique & awesome style. Verity rocked a gorgeous wedding dress with green sequins, green converse sneakers and oh-so-cool green streaks in her hair. While Ryan sported some very cool biker boots, a relaxed green vest & open shirt look and kept the day super romantic with little love letters to Verity in the morning and a very cute puzzle necklace gift set.

On Sunday, Andrijana & Thadeus married with the love & support of their friends, family & Church. A gorgeous, sunny day, everyone was so excited to see these 2 tie the knot at their Church in Prospect, followed by portraits at a personal favourite the Himeji Gardens and then an awesome reception hosted at the Majestic Rooftop Gardens. From Thad's surprise (& amazing) song played played for Andrijana with his band during the ceremony to the gorgeous dusky colour palette and all the attention to the little details, this was just such a sweet wedding.

On Saturday I was honoured to witness & capture Belle & Karens gorgeous same sex wedding. I feel touched by every wedding I capture, and always love how unique & personality filled each and every wedding is. But I had to choke back the tears more than a few times at this wedding, these girls were one of the happiest couples I've seen to be getting married. It makes your heart swell up to witness so much happiness at being able to express your love in such a special way. 

On Thursday, Kathy & Andrew married with a very relaxed and intimate wedding surrounded only by their very closest family & friends at the beautiful Jacobs Creek Retreat. The rain literally held off just for the ceremony and the portraits, starting to drip down as soon as our last portrait was shot. (Thank you!) It was such a sweet little day ♥ Hope you love your sneak peek guys, & congrats again! xx

It's not too common to have a wedding on a Wednesday, but that's just one of the many things that contributed to Ben & Melisa's wedding being so special. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as Melisa & Ben said their vowels in the gorgeous Sferas in Modbury. From the Star Wars homages to the beautiful decor, Ben & Melisa truly made this day their own. And the result was a lot of fun and happiness! Melisa & Ben, I wish you all the very best, and may the force be with you! xx
