Jake & Jess' Winter Wedding at Barn1890, McLaren Vale
We have had a very sunny Winter this year! And I really felt like Jake & Jess' wedding day was a great summary of this years winter weather. From overcast skies to brilliant bursts of warm sunshine. Home-baked pies instead of cake, an amazing bride who did so many of the personal touches (including all the pies and florals!) herself, and an adoring and fun loving groom. Jake & Jess' was just a little bit amazing, and the best way to get another busy wedding season rolling.
Jess & Muneeb's Adelaide Winter Wedding
You would not have believed that Jess and Muneeb’s gloriously sunny wedding took place in the middle of an Adelaide winter. A beautiful 19 degrees, and with barely a cloud in the sky, the day was more perfect than some we have in Spring!
Jas & Harry's Winter McLaren Vale Wedding
Winter can be absolutely beautiful, as proof by Jas & Harry's gorgeous McLaren Vale Winter wedding. With the shorter days, the sun never gets so high in the sky that it casts an overly harsh glare. And with wispy clouds leading into an overcast evening, the light became softer as the day progressed. Jas & Harry did their wedding their way, wanting to keep it as relaxed as possible and following only the traditions that meant something to them.
Christie & James' Adelaide Winter Wedding
I've been looking forward to this wedding for a while! Ever since their engagement session in fact, where I got to know just how down to earth, authentic and caring Christie & James are. Spending time with these two is the easiest thing in the world to do. Hanging out, chatting, chilling, jamming and exploring. So I knew that their wedding day would be an absolute blast!
Ben & Charlotte's Geeky Wedding at Henley Surf Life Saving Club
What a wedding this was! And an amazing way for me to bring my busy season "to a close". Dramatic stormy skies, bright pops of colour, geeky touches, impressive dancing, and two just completely lovely, wonderful people. As soon as I met Ben & Charlotte I knew I wanted to capture their wedding day memories. It was beyond evident at our first meeting that they are not only lovely people, but truly and authentically themselves in the most uplifting way.
Mona & Ryan's Mt Lofty Garden & Electra House Autumn Wedding
Mona & Ryan are two beautiful people that you could easily spend the day with just relaxing, chatting and having a good time. So spending their wedding day with them was both beautifully relaxed and fun! Their stunning and warm Autumn backdrop of the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens was an ideal setting for a wedding ceremony that was full of laughter and happiness. Will you take this woman? Hell Yeah! (It’s always such a pleasure working with Penelope Carrick, who’s ceremonies are always fun and warm.)
Dom & Matt's Autumn Wedding at Glen Ewin Estate
This wedding day flew by in the blink of an eye, which is no surprise to me as it felt like spending the day with friends! As soon as I saw Matt, he couldn't hold back his excitement. Getting ready with his four groomsmen at his mums house we laughed, played cricket, cleaned chairs and reminisced about his days growing up in the home. Visiting Dom I was greeted by the most beautiful gown, dress, girls and family. Dom's Uncle Joe did an AMAZING job on the hair, and as soon as the dress was on everything came together, Dom looked prefect.
Maggie & Anthony's Birdwood Motor Museum Wedding
Maggie & Anthony's vintage, rustic and autumn themed wedding came off perfectly in the beautiful and vintage National Motor Museum in Birdwood. Gorgeous old cars surrounded you wherever you looked, including a couple of visiting cars temporarily on display (Anthony and his dad's very own beautiful vintage cars provided not just transportation but looked great!)
Hayley & Anthony's Beautiful Botanic Garden & River Torrens Wedding
Hayley & Anthony's wedding on Saturday at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens was a beautiful day, all about not just Hayley & Anthony's love for each other - but for their beautiful children Milla and Cash too. The morning was a buzz with excitement and a little dash of chaos, with a new shirt sent to the boys via taxi (to replace a groomsman's shirt that didn't quite fit), and two very excited children raising the energy of the room with the girls.
Kim & Josh's Happiness Filled Partridge House Wedding, Glenelg
What else can I say, but weddings like this make me feel very blessed in what I do for a living. For Kim & Josh, Partridge House was the most logical place to have their wedding as the original halfway point between their two houses when they first started dating. Beyond logic, just how perfect is that?
