Sarah & Michael's Dreamy Veal Garden Wedding
Sarah & Michael's wedding was a little bit dreamy, a lot beautiful, and the perfect end to a gorgeous summer. The Veal gardens really is a bit of a "hidden gem" in Adelaide. (Though not quite so hidden on this particular Saturday with at least 3 other weddings enjoying the beautiful gardens). The day went so fast!
Kim & Clay's Beautifully Delicate Middleton Wedding
Saturday's wedding was simply gorgeous, soft & delicate - in every way. Kim & Clay were married with their beautiful little girl Imogen at the stunning Middleton Beach Huts. Late afternoon weddings are always so beautiful, with the low light of a dipping sun casting a soft and warm glow. And the location? Amazing! Gorgeous brightly coloured beach huts surrounded by an understated garden. Awesome.
The Fine Art of Middleton Beach
Yesterday's location scout left me feeling renewed & inspired. I took a little trip out to Middleton to scout the beautiful locations for this evening's wedding. And I have to say, Middleton Beach has well and truly captured my heart. Big & beautiful, yet softly deadly. The fierce waves tempt you into the water, spanning into the distance, a reminder of the power of the ocean & a warning of strong currents. A cool 20 degrees kept me safe on the shore with feet dipped in shallows watching new surfers practice their craft.
Tanya & Matt's Gorgeous One Tree Hill Wedding
What a lovely way to finish off my Monday, looking through some favourite photos from Tanya & Matt's gorgeous One Tree Hill wedding at Art Through Da Vince's Eyes. Such a unique venue, a Roman inspired garden hidden away in One Tree Hill. The weather also decided to change things up a bit for us! When the ceremony began we were being bared down upon by 41 degree heat and a very bright sun. No sooner had the ceremony started than a quite rumble in the distance of a thunderstorm brought a cool & welcome relief to the weather. With gorgeous overcast skies and a sudden temperature drop that felt oh so good!
Karina & Michael's Beautiful Valentines Day Wedding
Valentines Day this year was a warm one at 43 degrees! But that wasn't the only thing warming people up, Karina & Michaels beautiful wedding also did a very good job of warming everyone's hearts. A beautiful day that was full of family and friends held at Sorelle's in Magill, followed by portraits at the beautiful Magill University grounds. Enjoy the little sneak peek ♥
Nicole & Matthews Adelaide City Garden Wedding
Nicole & Matthews wedding on Saturday was so gorgeous and so much fun! After preparing in family homes we arrived at the Veal Gardens and Adelaide Pavilion for a simply perfect wedding. I've always loved the Veal Gardens, with ample shade a beautiful little details. It was also an absolute pleasure to work with celebrant Michaela from More Than Words again. The early evening ceremony followed with portraits as the sun slowly began its journey downward, sending light glowing across the tops of the trees.
Stop Motion Photography for Adelaide TV Commercial
This was a little bit of a different job for me. In a previous life I would spend days and days in a little studio photographing products against a plain white background, and late last year I briefly revisited that setting with some stop motion photography for Anomaly Media & Stubby Strip's Australia Day TVC campaign. Take a little squiz at the video if you're interested (my photos feature at the very end in a little animation by Anomaly Media), it's a very cool little product! And Happy Aus Day for Monday!
Chelsa & Kevin's Family Beach Wedding
Sunday's wedding was just full to bursting with so many wonderful things! It was definitely all about family, Chelsa & Kevin prepared and arrived at the ceremony together as a family. It was so very windy on the beach, but that just meant that they got 2 kisses! Beginning on the beach with the vowels and finishing inside with a beautiful little sand ceremony and the signing. The reception that followed was missing not one thing. There was a candy bar, full band, caricature artist, photo booth and more. We even ducked outside for a few sunset photos on the beach. I can't wait to share a few more pics with you, but for now here's a little sneak peek at the gorgeousness.
Erin & David's Beautiful Serafino Wedding
Saturday was unconventionally wet for January, which must mean that it was exceptionally lucky, right!? :) Erin looked so gorgeous, in fact the entire bridal party looked quite dashing. Erin & David married in the very cool barrel room at Serafino, followed by some fun portraits around the beautiful grounds. A very beautiful day, and not one drop of rain fell during our portrait session. Winning! Enjoy this little sneak peek.
Margaux & Andrew's Adelaide City Registry Wedding
The heaven's were open on Friday, a massive relief to the fires that had devastated SA only the weekend before. With a thunderstorm looming Margaux & Andrew were married surrounded by friends & family at the Adelaide Registry office. As lucky as the rain is on a wedding day, we were blessed to avoid it for our portraits following at the Adelaide Arcade and Rymill Park. In the end it was a perfect, very luck filled and wonderful wedding day. Congrats guys! And enjoy your little sneak peek ♥
