Jess & Brad's Beautiful Lobethal Wedding

What a beautiful break Saturday was in a long line of wet and dreary days. The sun was out and shining brightly through soft clouds and blue skies all day long.

I caught up with Brad and six of his closest mates at the gorgeous Springwood park, a small hobby farm in Oakbank. The heavy rains of the past week were evident here with a muddy driveway and overflowing river. Nothing could possibly dampen spirits though, as Brad and his groomsmen, looking very dapper, walked around the grounds with me for photos. Patting the curious horses, checking out the tractors and posing on bridges.

I then headed on to meet Jess and six of her closest girl friends at her parents house. The room was a buzz with excitement, and all the girls looked gorgeous, especially Jess in her beautiful lacy wedding gown.

The Church ceremony was absolutely perfect too, in the large and beautiful Lobethal Church where Jess’ parents had also married. Following the ceremony we took advantage of the glorious sunshine at the old wool mill. Ruined buildings and beautiful old walls provide such a cool backdrop. And with the sun shining brightly, it was the perfect spot for a portrait stop with the awesome old cars.

Howard’s vineyard was the final stop, and their reception room is just gorgeous! Continuing a lovely rustic theme with bare stone walls and soaring ceilings. Jess did an amazing job, setting up a cute little polaroid photo booth and selecting the beautiful details that gave the entire reception a warm and lovely ambiance.

Congratulations Jess & Brad!! xx
