Elke & Jarrad's Bohemian Port Pirie Wedding
Elke & Jarrad's Bohemian Port Pirie Wedding
Elke and Jarrad’s wedding was stunningly beautiful and unique, and not just because of the dust storm that blew through on an abnormally hot October day creating a sky full of glowing warmth. The effort they both put into turning the backyard of their home into a relaxed, colourful and boho space was worth every second. That effort mixed with some amazing style (I mean, just check out how gorgeous Elke’s dress is and how cool Jarrad’s suit is!) created a dream wedding. Teepees, delicious food, plentiful drinks, colourful and welcoming decor and all surrounded by the love of family and friends. What a day! Thank you so much for having me capture it for you!
Congratulations Elke & Jarrad!! xo

What a gorgeous wedding. Georgia & Levi married with so many loved ones surrounding them at their church before heading to the beyond-beautiful Inglewood Inn for a night full of dancing, music, and perhaps even a blow-up T-rex suit. Photos were a big part of the day (which I always love) taking place where we took their engagement portraits in Highbury (check out those here x) as well as in the rolling rocky fields in which Inglewood Inn is nestled.
This wedding was so fun and down to earth. It was a laid-back, cosy, simple, and meaningful day with everyone Ash and Oliver loved together to share it. Mount Lofty Range’s Vineyard has beautiful views of nature and a very warm and welcoming feel—perfect for the vibe of the day.
Hugh and Matthew’s wedding was very chill. It was a wonderful celebration before they jetted away to Europe for eight weeks (yes!). We hung out for some relaxed portraits around the Beresford grounds before they greeted guests together with warm and welcoming smiles all around. Their ceremony was full of heart, and the lunch to follow was just so good. A wedding done very right.
Meg and Andy had an intimate and fun wedding at one of my favourite SA wedding venues - Templeton on Murray. A gorgeous spot right on the river with a very relaxed vibe. Their day was all about marrying their best friend, and spending a wonderulf day together.
Pok Him and May had a beautiful winery wedding at K1. An intimate and warm day joined by their close family and friends. The day began with a tea ceremony, ended with non-stop dancing and had plenty of heart-warming moments shared with loved ones in between. This is one to let the photos do the talking.
Tash & Des’ wedding was lovingly simple with thoughtful and personal touches, held in the intimate setting of Carrick Hill. A lovely garden wedding with beautiful florals, hertiage grounds to explore and lots of loved ones from near and far to share kind words and funky dance moves.
Jess and Corey had a low-key and intimate wedding in the beautiful Adelaide Hills at Picadilly Halls. Starting with an elopement style ceremony with just their closest family as witnesses. A few photos in the area (of course, our favourite location being a random stop at the side of the road). All tied up nicely with a larger celebration with family and friends kicked off with a confetti welcome. An all around great day.
Alice and Codey’s wedding had so many of the good things. Starting with a relaxed and fun photo session on the cliffs at Blanche Point and the gorgeous ruins nearby. Then hanging out at home with family before a beach wedding leading straight into a big garden party at Aldinga Secret Garden. The whole day was one spectacular party celebrating Alice and Codey’s long love story. And all about dancing the night away and hanging out with friends and family.
Jaymie and Matt had a low-key and casual wedding amongst family at the beautiful Fork in the Road in McLaren Vale. A day all about coming together and knowing that they’ll be spending the rest of their lives together. With a super fun vintage green car, gorgeous flower girls and relaxed vibes surrounded by vines. It was a great day.
Lajla and Anthony’s wedding was all about uniting their growing family and celebrating their day full of love! At the beautifully relaxed McLaren Vale venue, Barn1890 on a beautifully warm and sunny December day.
Alex and Al had a relaxed Summer wedding day in beautiful Port Elliot, climbing over beautiful boulders, hanging out on the jetty, mingling with loved ones and, of course, tearing up the dance floor. What better way to celebrate a beautiful Summer wedding than by the sea?
What a day this was! Certainly not one to forget. And not just because it was beautifully styled, at an amazing venue with awesome people. The weather was intense! While Adelaide was experiencing one of its most terrential storms in a long time we enjoyed sunny skies for a beautiful ceremony. Until… later that night it blew over us. Lightning creating an epic view in the distance for couple photos, and rain blanketing the marquee and reception as everyone danced the night away. It was a relaxed day with chilled out vibes. Just two people in love, showing those they love what they love! Boho styling, pizza, gelato, partying and more.
Amy and Naish had a relaxed and rustic garden themed wedding, with a touch of glamour. They held their ceremony at the Clare Valley Heritage Gardens in the beautiful outdoors with a reception to follow at Sevenhill. A day all about celebrating their marriage with their son and family, all dressed up and looking gorgeous. It was a fabulous day!
Ash and Ryan’s wedding was all about being in the moment. Getting everyone together and celebrating love with family and friends. They had a relaxed yet elegant wedding at Ekhidna Wines, keeping things simple and fun but not missing out on any of those special formalities. From speeches to first dance and bouquet toss, leading into a night full of dancing beneath the festoon lights. It was a perfect day.
Chris and Max had a beautifully relaxed and intimate wedding ceremony at Sinclair’s Gully with their closest family and friends, many who made the journey across the sea from the other side of the world. Sinclair’s Gully is not only warm and welcoming with the perfect relaxed vibe, but also gorgeously Aussie with it’s ghost gum forest and native wildlife. The perfect setting for a perfect wedding celebration.
Lisa and Daniel had an intimate, elegant and classic wedding in a beautiful backyard in Aldgate. It was easy to capture some lovely portraits for them amongst the trees, hedges and flowers in the garden, as well of plenty of candid and relaxed moments with guests. They followed up their ceremony with a delicious meal overlooking the city lights at the Windy Point Bird Box restaurant. A perfectly relaxed and beautiful wedding day.
Kody and David had a beautifully rustic wedding with a country vibe, marrying in a sheep paddock beneath a gorgeous old gum tree! They spent the day celebrating with their friends and family and dancing the night away to some really good tunes. Penny’s Hill always provides the goods for photo locations from the old stone walls to vineyards, paddocks and gum trees. It was a gorgeous day!
Renee and Angus’ wedding day was warm and bright with perfect weather, a relaxed and casual day. They looked forward to all the special moments; the ceremony, speeches and first dance. One Paddock at Currency Creek was the perfect venue for their rustic boho vibe with beautiful views, vineyard and even horses. It made me one very happy photographer, what a beautiful day!
Heather and Danny have been friends of mine for about 10 years, so I was absolutely thrilled to capture their wedding day and celebrate with them! Especially after Covid delayed their special day by years as they waited for Danny’s family to be able to join the celebrations from the UK. Their day was amazing. A first look in the morning, portraits with family at Serafino and then a delicious (and HUGE) lunch at the Smiling Samoyed before a relaxed afternoon wedding at Fleurieu Cherries with even more good food, games and dancing.
During Paul & Rosa’s engagement session, where we hiked down to, along and back up from the Onkaparinga Gorge on a whim with Rosa in nothing but wedge heels I knew these two were something special. Their wedding day was relaxed, joyful and fun! A celebration with their loved ones, lots of good food, dancing and some fun traditions like the Finnish stealing of the bride! As always, I’ll let the photos do the talking.
Mahalia & Chris had a wedding with a casual vibe allowing them to relax and be themselves with all of their guests. Mahalia had two stunning dresses and the decor of the barn was perfectly gorgeous. We were SO excited that dancing became legal at SA weddings again that very day, and the dance floor was well made use of! It was a beautiful day of smiles, sunshine, laughter and love.
Laura and Jake wanted to keep their special day casual and easy going (and of course beautiful too!) It was all about marrying their best friend and celebrating with their closest loved ones. They kept their styling classic and timeless, which fit well with the beautiful surrounds of Chateau Yaldara. Sharing a first look so they could get straight into the reception after family portraits and make the most of their day. Which included a beautifully choreographed first dance, fun shoe games, hearfelt speeches and the bouquet toss.
If there was such a thing as a perfect wedding day, I’d say that Bec and Nathan nailed it. It was beautiful, relaxed, intimate, full of laughter and good food - and everything felt easy and fun. Bec and Nathan got married together with their two children before strolling down the lawn to celebrate and commit to their life together surrounded by loved ones under a beautifully decorated arbor and tall gum trees.
There were record breaking outback rains on Melissa and Ash’s wedding day, but they didn’t let that dampen their special day! With colours of purple and gold they got married in what felt like a big family reuinion. Being 6th generation it was special for Melissa to get married at the Laura Catholic Church, where her family name is remembered in one of the stained glass windows. After a brief dash through the rain they celebrated their reception at the Laura Civic Centre. Sneaking out one last time for photos as the rain eased up in the evening.
Bec & Johnny has an intimate, happy and relaxed wedding at Burbrook Forest beneath that gorgeous iconic tree. Surrounded by just the nearest and dearest, with delicious platters and donuts to follow. Their day was full of smiles and laughs, and Bec looked stunning in the gorgeous dress made by her mum! We took photos around the beautiful Kuitpo as well as a short little drive to the rolling hills near Willunga.
Steph and Ben had an intimate and traditional little wedding in Glenelg at the St Peter’s Anglican Church. A gorgeous day full of fun and personal touches, like a flower crown for their furry friend Rommy and fun balloons with messages like “you only get married twice”! After a traditional ceremony and afternoon tea at the Church we headed back to Steph’s family home for a few more special family traditions. Before finishing up with some gorgeous sunset portraits nearby. It was such a special day!
Childhood sweethearts Niamh & Nick had a nice and laidback wedding with a fresh garden and vintage feel at the gorgeous Carrick Hill. A place Niamh visited when she was younger. As a girl it was a fairy tale experience exploring the story book trail with fairy costumes. This time round was no less of a fairy tale. They spent the day celebrating with their friends and family, both in person and over the distant seas through video chat. Arriving in some very cool cars and enjoying the gorgeous gardens and view, along with the amazing service from the staff at Carrick Hill, dishing up delicious meals. I’ve also never seen so many people get up and dance the nutbush, what a dance floor!
Bec and Angas married with a very intimate group in an elopement style at a gorgeous little McLaren Vale B&B. Celebrating their marriage and enjoying the day for what it was truly about. I spent some time with Bec as she got ready, and Angas while he decorated the arbor. Before a special first look and photos around the grounds. You’d never guess from the beauty for the scenery how many cow poos we had to dodge, hehe. Thank you so much for sharing this special day with me guys!
Becc and Anton’s wedding at Mount Lofty House was not only beautiful, but also a lot of fun! Light hearted from start to finish, and full of love. The love they have for each other, and that their family and friends have for them. Mount Lofty House is a gorgeous venue and they always look after their guests so well. This made the day even more relaxed. Along with those views of rolling hills and beautiful surrounds, with perfectly styled florals to compliment - the day was stunning!

This wedding was a vibe. I absolutely loved hanging out with Sally and Luke at their beautiful family property in Loxton with lovely red earth, vines for miles, and hours of fun. Their day had all of the good things (making for great photo opportunities) from confetti exits (from the ceremony) to sparkler entries (for the first dance), and plenty of champagne sprays. The day was elegant and beautiful, but also relaxed and a fun party for everyone that they loved to celebrate and have a wonderful time.
