Sean & Lawson’s Intimate Forest Elopement at Sinclairs Gully
Some weddings feel big and loud and full of moving parts.
And some feel quiet, grounded, and deeply intentional.
Sean and Lawson’s day at Sinclairs Gully was the second kind.
Tucked beneath towering ghost gums, surrounded by soft green ferns and the kind of stillness you only find in the forest, they gathered with their closest family to marry their best friend. No fuss, no pressure—just the people who matter most, sharing something real.
The ceremony space was simple but beautiful. A wooden arbour draped in soft fabric and native florals, mismatched chairs gathered in a loose circle, and the forest doing what it does best—holding everything gently. It felt less like a “set up” and more like it had always belonged there.
There’s something really special about small ceremonies like this. You can feel every moment. Every glance, every smile, every little shift in energy as it all becomes real.
Afterwards, everyone wandered back together, settling into a relaxed little table filled with snacks and drinks. Nothing formal—just grazing, chatting, laughing. The kind of space where conversations stretch out and no one is watching the clock.
We explored a few corners of the property for photos, each one offering something completely different. The forest itself, of course—quiet and grounding. A winding driveway that somehow felt cinematic in the simplest way. And the vineyard, soft and green, adding a completely different texture to the story of the day.
Sean and Lawson were so easy together. No overthinking, no posing—just being in it. Walking side by side, laughing, leaning into each other without even realising. The kind of connection that doesn’t need direction.
Days like this are a reminder that weddings don’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. Sometimes, it’s just about choosing your person, choosing your people, and creating a space where you can actually feel it all.
