Some days the inspiration just hits, and you’d be silly not to take advantage of it. I LOVE finding beauty in unique and unexpected places. From random stops along the road to hidden alley ways, especially at golden hour. When the character of light grows deep and warm.

What can we say? But wow! This was such a special elopement and completely beautiful day. Ashley and Salesi are two down to earth, relaxed, fun loving and beautiful souls. Despite a lost (and then found) wedding ring, temporarily replaced by a seaweed wreath, they had nothing but smiles. The picnic that Laura set up was a bohemian dream overlooking a peacful sea. The cake was delicious! And the sunset to top it all off? After an overcast day with a little gap that the sun peeked through on it’s final journey down to the ocean was just spectacular. A dream day. Thank you for having us!

Beth & Tom’s rustic elopement at Brin Farm in Kangarilla was short, sweet and intimate. And also full of fun and laughter! They approached their marriage in the most beautiful way; relaxed, smiling and happy. Laughing when the beautiful floating arbour joined in with fabric hugs in the wind. A perfect little afternoon in such a stunning location, dressing up, memories, photos, and at the end of their heartfelt ceremony being married!

This family portrait session was a beautiful mother’s day gift for Lucy from her husband Kaes. I captured their wedding day in 2018 and so it was special to be able to share and capture this next big milestone in their journey together. And to meet Tobias of course, who is adorable!! We kept the session natural and relaxed, first at home and then at a nearby park as the sun slowly set to that beautiful orange glow that I love. Thanks for having me again guys! Mahayla and Tim’s wedding in the river land was an absolute dream. Not just the rural location right by the river Murray with beautiful old stone buildings around us. Not just the bohemian decorations giving the space a relaxed but beautiful vibe. But also how relaxed and fun the day was, and not just because there were kids playing underfoot. Mahayla and Tim managed to pull off an atmosphere where everyone could just relax and be themselves, sharing and celebrating the special and intimate moments of the day. A lovely day for the family to come together.

Sam & Buddy’s wedding was classic and authentic. Just watch how these guys looked at each other and you could feel the love. The day was full to bursting with beautiful things. All the special little touches they put together, the gifts and kind words. A ceremony full of love and photo adventures out to some of my favourite places in McLaren Vale, including Gull Rock. Then a night full of dancing and celebrating with loved ones. As always, I’m going to let the photos do the talking. xo

Kyla & Jane had a relaxed, natural and romantic wedding surrounded by big, beautiful trees in Kuitpo Forest. Their day was full of gorgeous moments, from the ceremony, exchanging rings, first kiss, and becoming each other’s wives. To celebrating with loved ones in natural confetti and by dancing the night away. I adored the cute Kombi Van they hired as their wedding car, which took us along dirt paths to beautiful and natural places. And had a wonderful evening celebrating their love with their loved ones! Who looked great in their new rainbow socks.

Jade & Jake’s elopement in Kuitpo forest was stunningly beautiful, despite also being wonderfully simple and intimate. A day all about being able to finally call each other “husband” and “wife”, and in Jake’s words, “it completes us”. And what a beautiful family they are with happy little Ryder! From the picnic and bubbles, to the trek up the hill and into the forest for photos. The entire afternoon was perfect. Thanks so much for having us guys! xo

Kels and Ricky had a unique, colourful, loud, fun and creative wedding in the beautiful country setting of Currency Creek on a private property for hire. Such a stunning location with beautiful fields and lovely old buildings. Decorated thoughtfully with customised and artistic touches. I absolutely loved the bridesmaids floral wreaths instead of bouquets., so cute and creative! When the day gave way to evening, and everyone’s bellies were full from the two food trucks, the party ramped up with dancing and live music right into the night. It was fantastic.

This little elopement was full of all the right things. Absolutely stunning views from a perfectly cosy B&B nestled in rolling hills overlooking the sea. Genuine love and excitement to be married and able to call each other husband and wife. A simple, relaxed and easy vibe - no rushing, no pressure. Just a lovely atmosphere and calming, cool white skies.
