Lisa & Matt's Engagement Session: A Walk on the Beach at Sunrise
Yesterday morning just as the sun was poking it's head up for the day, I met Lisa & Matt at the always gorgeous Semaphore Beach for a little stroll and engagement session. The high school sweethearts got engaged here only a few months earlier in February, and it was great to visit such a special spot for them with gorgeously soft Winter morning light. Hope you love your little sneak peek guys! xx
Amy & Nigels Gorgeous Beach Wedding at Semaphore & Port Adelaide
You guys! I had soooo much trouble not just uploading this entire wedding! Perfect low sun light + the beach + grungy Port Adelaide + a gorgeous couple + their amazing family = an absolutely stunning and intimate beach wedding. Amy, I can't believe you made that amazing bouquet! You were just full of such beautiful ideas and inspiration for your beautiful, little wedding. And I still can't get over that amazing, yellow sunset... hope you guys had the most perfect day. And enjoy your amazing destination wedding in Bali soon. xx
Diner en Blanc - a 30th Birthday Party in Melbourne
As I'm sure my friends & family will attest, I get so wrapped up in finishing my "work photos" that I can take twice as long (or longer...) to get personal & family photos done. But, after slowly whittling away at these, I'm so happy to have had time this long weekend to finish my boyfriends' sisters thirtieth birthday party! How perfectly timed was it that her birthday (almost) fell on the Diner en Blanc in Melbourne, a very cool (& kind of hip) big, posh picnic.
April's Dr Seuss First Birthday Party
I don't know anyone who doesn't love Dr Seuss, be they child or adult, young or just young at heart. Such whimsy and wisdom all rolled into one awesome ball, so a Dr Seuss birthday party couldn't be anything but awesome! 'Thing Mum' Jacquie did an amazing job putting everything so generously together. We started the party with a cake smash, but April being too much of a lady thought the beautiful cake was just too good to mush. So she daintily played with balloons and ate her little fondant letters instead. Such a cutie!
Señor Fluffy - The Ancient Birman
Meet Señor Fluffy, the ancient Birman, in human years he would be well over 100! Like any ancient creature, he is stubborn, strong willed, a little bit grumpy, but has a heart of gold. So, on a cold and sleepy Sunday I decided to take some precious memories of my adopted kitty Señor, who won't be with us for very much longer.
Candid & Light Filled Portraits of my Beautiful Niece on Her 2nd Birthday
What a joy it was to relocate my "office" to Canberra for a few days and share in my little niece's second birthday celebrations. Her last birthday as the only child, with her new little brother or sister getting ready to meet the world. We captured these very special memories over a couple of days, playing in the park with nan & pop, running a muck at her awesome dino themed birthday party and feeding the ducks at the park.
Kirsten & Pat's Fun Port Football Club Wedding
On Saturday at the Port Club in Alberton, Kirsten & Pat married with a beautiful ceremony, their favourite football team colours and their wonderful family & friends. There wasn't a dry eye as Kirsten made her way down through the stands to her future husband. Following the perfectly sweet ceremony, we all had a lot of fun! Kicking the footy, running through banners, frolicking in the slowly setting sun.
Belinda's Free Spirited & Natural Portraits on the Beach
I haven't done many portrait sessions recently, but I think thats got to change! This morning it was my privilege to capture some natural portraits of the gorgeous & free spirited Belinda. It really was such a fun shoot, a morning full of cartwheels, laughs, silly faces and delicious coffee.
Miranda & Simon's Rustic Clare Valley Wedding
Miranda & Simon's wedding on Saturday made me think of rustic rockabilly. Hosted at the amazingBungaree Station, a working sheep farm surrounded by wineries. Everything about their day was unique, casual and completely them. Miranda & her girl friends prepared at the lodge, surrounded by millipedes and spiders (even a colourful mouse spider joined the party!), an awesome outdoor fire place and lots of yummy nibbles. It was very Aussie outback with a bit of glam.
Ellen & Andrews Stunning Adelaide Botanic Gardens Wedding
On Saturday, the gorgeous Ellen & Andrew married in a place that was very special to them. Having had their very first date at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, and as frequent visitors, it seemed the perfect spot for them to be married. Married by the lovely Richard from I Do Forever, the cold rain and drizzle couldn't stop these guys from celebrating their love in such a beautiful garden.
