Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day, and my first Spring wedding for 2015. The sun was warm and bright the whole afternoon, creating the perfect weather. Emily & Grant married in a gorgeous little garden hidden away in the Adelaide Zoo. They did things a little bit differently, disguising the day as a special family zoo outing and tour. When their guests arrived for their special "zoo tour" they were led to the secret garden where they found a beautiful surprise!

Like any art form, photographers all have their own unique approach to creating a photograph. As a people photographer my goal is to capture the real, natural and raw expressions of people that make them so wonderfully unique. While some people like to pose their subjects with a “smile for the camera” approach, my approach is quite different.

This is a beautiful love story. Working in Malaysia with refugees Caleb spends most of his time away from his gorgeous fiancee Linh in Adelaide. For a few precious weeks each year they get to spend time together, and I was invited to capture a small moment of it in a beautiful garden. The shoot was full of laughter, happiness and love. Sunday afternoon was perfectly pleasant with beautiful weather and good company. The recently engaged sweethearts Stef & Zac headed to Semaphore Beach and Port Adelaide with me to catch some relaxed and fun engagement photos. Saturday afternoon presented perfectly sunny late Winter weather for Sophie & Adam's gorgeous beachside wedding in Glenelg. It was a loved up afternoon full of children, laughter, running, dancing, playing, traversing beachside rocks and getting wet, sandy toes. Everyone looked gorgeous, the Pier put on a beautiful feast and the evening was slowly danced away as a delicious golden sun dipped behind the ocean. Yesterday was a gorgeous afternoon full of walking, playing, kisses and hill climbing at the Keith Stephenson Memorial Park in Mount Barker. Covered in lush grass, big trees and intersected by a beautiful little lake. I was lucky enough to share this afternoon with these 2 beautiful souls and capture some memories of their life & love. A wedding is always a special day, especially when the people getting married are your nearest and dearest. I was humbled to capture these precious and fleeting moments of my brothers life on Friday. In the blink of an eye my little brother had become a husband to his beautiful wife Hailey, and they spent the night dancing away to celebrate.

I can't believe it... My little brother is getting married this Friday! Siblings always have a special relationship, we grow up together through some of the most challenging times and through some of the biggest changes in our lives. Little bro, you make me proud every single day with your awesome character, kind nature, amazing musical talents, dreams for the future and determination to do.
