You know Spring is in the air when the trees start to grow their green coats, the flowers begin to blossom and the sun decides he's going to stick around a little longer and start warming things up. We've been so lucky to have so many beautiful and warm springs days, especially gracing the weekend! Sunday was another one of those sunny, light filled days.

The weather on Saturday was just so stunning. Gorgeously warm with not one peep from the wind. When I arrived at the Surf Life Saving Club in Henley all of Kel & Mark's family & friends were taking it easy with a drink in hand. From there the day just flowed so perfectly with a relaxed and cheerful vibe. Following the short & sweet ceremony we went for a little walk down an awesome secret graffiti lane and then back along the beach just as the sun started to dip it's way down to the ocean. The light was so stunning and just glowed! Followed by a picture perfect sunset as family & friends celebrated the night away.

In February this year I had the joy of capturing the wedding of Michael & Sarah. Then on Sunday I was so happy to continue their journey with them as I captured beautiful memories of the new addition to their little family, Isaac. He's such a cute little guy! And you can tell just how much he is loved by his wonderful parents. You guys make such an awesome little family, biggest congrats again! xx

Saturday was warm in more ways than one. The weather was absolutely stunning, but the love between family, friends and the beautiful couple Beth & Fabian was so much warmer. I spent the early part of the day right through to late evening dancing with them, and could not have felt more like part of their big & beautiful family. Beth is a beautiful star and so much fun! And Fabian has the sweetest soul, even putting on the BEST and funniest surprise groom & groomsmen/friend dance I've ever seen! (Can't wait to share some from the reception!)

Nearly 4 weeks to the day ago, my sister completed her little family of 4 with the most handsome little baby boy George. I met him in chilly Canberra on his 1 month birthday, and got to spend 2 precious days full of new baby cuddles and chasing around my energetic little niece Lori. Who has taken incredibly well to her big sister duties! It's been amazing to see how much she has grown and how brave she's gotten! Off exploring the big wide world, feeding over excited ducks and climbing the big kids playground. I'm so honoured to be able to share this tiny peek into their gorgeous life. xx

Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day, and my first Spring wedding for 2015. The sun was warm and bright the whole afternoon, creating the perfect weather. Emily & Grant married in a gorgeous little garden hidden away in the Adelaide Zoo. They did things a little bit differently, disguising the day as a special family zoo outing and tour. When their guests arrived for their special "zoo tour" they were led to the secret garden where they found a beautiful surprise!

Like any art form, photographers all have their own unique approach to creating a photograph. As a people photographer my goal is to capture the real, natural and raw expressions of people that make them so wonderfully unique. While some people like to pose their subjects with a “smile for the camera” approach, my approach is quite different.

This is a beautiful love story. Working in Malaysia with refugees Caleb spends most of his time away from his gorgeous fiancee Linh in Adelaide. For a few precious weeks each year they get to spend time together, and I was invited to capture a small moment of it in a beautiful garden. The shoot was full of laughter, happiness and love. Sunday afternoon was perfectly pleasant with beautiful weather and good company. The recently engaged sweethearts Stef & Zac headed to Semaphore Beach and Port Adelaide with me to catch some relaxed and fun engagement photos.
