Viv & Ravi's Beautiful Summer Garden Wedding
We all know how hot Saturday was at a sizzling 43 degrees, but that just added to the perfection of Viv and Ravi’s gorgeous Summer wedding at the Botanic Gardens. I can’t think of many places better to be on a hot day than a beautiful garden, surrounded by cooling greenery, comforting shade and that beautiful burst of fresh garden scent. The botanic garden was full of the smells of trees and flowers, it was amazing!
Liam & Krystel's Cute and Fun Beach Engagement Portraits
I say it all the time, I absolutely love South Australia and couldn't think of a better place as a wedding photographer with such a variety of beautiful locations. When it comes to beach portraits though, I will always say - let's go South!! Our southern coastline is stunning, crystal clear water (or big beautiful waves), long stretches of white sand, rolling barely fields and epic sandy cliffs. On super sunny Friday I headed on down to one of my fave South beaches with the adorable Krystel & Liam. Just 30 minutes before sunset we began our little walk to the beach, where we sat on rocks, got our feet wet, played with seaweed moustaches and finished with a perfect little picnic. I cannot wait to capture your wedding in January guys! xx
My little adventure to the Yorke Peninsula
I truly cherish breaks when I get them, especially when they're with my super hardworking partner! This week just gone we were so lucky to be able to stay at the Hillock's Ocean Pod, right at the bottom of the Yorke Peninsula foot. With absolutely no phone or internet reception, just a relaxing break on a stunning rugged coastline surrounded by barely fields and scrub. I spent most of my time relaxing, and not too much photographing. But the photos I did take I am absolutely in love with. (What a stunning backdrop!) Most of our time was spent, walking, hiking, rock climbing, swimming and wave watching. Along with a lot of good food and drink! Here's a tiny peek at some of our beautiful holiday. xx
Amber & Dan's Warm & Wonderful McLaren Vale Winery Wedding
Saturday was HOT! A sunny and sweaty 39 degrees, but it was beautiful! Amber & Dan's wedding was so fun and warm in every sense of the word. Full of happiness. Every part of the wedding suited Amber & Dan to a T, beautiful wineries, craft wines and beers, a relaxed vibe in the beautiful back yard of Dan's parents house, surrounded by rolling hills, vines and love. Their live band Full Circle was a hoot! And the food was soooo goood. Ducking out at sunset to take photos in the barley field with soft hills in the distance was a photogs dream. Congrats again guys! Your wedding was perfect. xx
Manman & Louis' Traditional Tea Ceremony & Beautiful Stangate House Wedding
Sunday was a wonderful day! I shot one of my first traditional tea ceremonies, and it was so so good! A morning full of laughter, happiness, excitement, love, tradition and of course, tea and gifts. You couldn't help but laugh and smile all morning as the boys performed their games, make-up application and a food "treat" of all 5 flavour types. Sweet, salty, bitter... all in one delicious mouthful, yum. Manman looked so stunning in her beautiful red gown, and following the ceremonies we parted ways briefly as they headed on to Stangate House to set up for their wedding ceremony.
Misty & Mick's Old Noarlunga Wedding
Saturday was a perfect day to tie the knot, the sun was shining with the gentlest of breezes. I met Misty just a couple of weeks before the big day, after her Dad and step Mum hired me as a surprise! What lovely souls they are! After weeks and weeks of hard work renovating their house into a gorgeous beach themed hideaway, Misty & Mick married at a small and beautiful nearby Church at Old Noarlunga.
Courtney & Tristan's Beautifully Windy Beach Wedding
Saturday was the most gorgeous day for a wedding at a mostly sunny 23 degrees, even with the wind blowing a gale at Seacliff beach. As soon as Tristen saw his beautiful bride and his lovely daughter walking towards him, no one really seemed to notice the wind anymore. A few sweet tears were flowing, and the ceremony was finished with a seriously rocking first kiss and heartfelt cuddles.

I love love love to take preparation photos! But how do you know what to do when your photographer arrives to take your preparation photos? Should you be dressed or not? Is it candid or posed? Do you need them? What are they? Let's talk about it. xx

It was a relaxed and beautiful wedding, with gorgeously picked out details and brilliant service from the Currant Shed. Including a scrummy gourmet picnic hamper to take with us on a little portrait session at Shottesbrooke Winery.
