JJ's Energetic Beach Adventure
Last year I had the honour to meet Minnie and her son JJ, and to share her amazing story of how she came to have her beautiful little boy after so many battles. It’s a real love story that touches your heart. (You can read it here.) We’ve been in touch since then planning another, slightly warmer shoot. Waiting and watching the weather for a clear sunny day that would really make the ocean that gorgeous bright blue colour you get on warm, sunny summer days. On Monday morning we got it! :)
Chris & Stephanie's Adelaide Garden Wedding
The weather recently has been so perfect, with beautiful warm and sunny days, soft and cool breezes and gentle patches of cloud rolling through blue skies. The perfect weather for weddings. Sunday was an amazing day to be a part of, as two sweet souls married in the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Gardens.
Iwonka & Justin's Stunning Middleton Wedding
I love travelling down to Middleton for weddings, and I love taking adventures to the stunning Petrel Cove. Saturday was one of those rare days, where everything just came together so perfectly. The light was amazing all day long and in every single location. The locations all sang, full of natural and rugged beauty. And the couple? Iwonka and Justin are the most beautiful souls and the love they have for each other is evident in every glance and action that they took.
Jasper's Second Birthday Photos at Botanic Gardens
Wednesday was Jasper’s second birthday, and so I met him and his parents at the Botanic Gardens to take some natural photos of them enjoying their time together. Jasper is such a cutie, and really enjoyed his time running around the gardens, chasing bubbles, investigating leaves, opening fun presents, and giving his parents big cuddles! The morning light was beautiful and created little light puddles scattered all around the shady trees. It was the perfect, sunny day for birthdays and photos. Happy birthday again for Wednesday Jasper! xx
Anni & Mark's Gorgeous Streaky Bay Wedding
What an amazing wedding this was. A wedding in stunning Streaky Bay full of beautiful details, wonderful people and fun! If you’ve never been to Streaky Bay, I highly recommend a visit (even if you’re not into fishing!) It has a relaxing vibe in a beautiful natural setting, with rugged coastlines, rolling sand dunes and bushy scrub.
Marc & Madeline's Stormy Botanic Engagement Session
When I say we got drenched on Sunday's stormy engagement session, I mean we got drenched! Madeline & Marc were down visiting from Sydney to finalise some of their wedding plans, so when the stormy weather began we decided to brave the rain anyway. With a thick rain cloud covering the sky, the light became moody and we ventured around a Botanic Gardens with quite a different feel.
Fun Family Portraits at the Stunning Waterfall Gully
Sunday was a very wet and stormy day, but that didn't stop Chris, Michelle, Tanisha, Ronin and I from venturing out to the beautiful Waterfall Gully for some fun family portraits. I captured the wedding photos for Chris & Michelle earlier this year, and it was great to catch up with them and their family again!
Grant & Louise's Rustic Clare Valley Wedding
The Clare Valley is such a beautiful and rustic location, the perfect place for Grant & Louise's special wedding day. I met Louise at her parents house, and there was a buzz of calm excitement. Her mum had done a wonderful job on not just the bouquets and button holes, but every single flower arrangement for the entire day! And Louise just looked so stunning in her gorgeous wedding gown.
Natural Family Portraits Adelaide Botanic Gardens
I love weddings and couples in love, which is why I specialise in wedding and couples portrait photography. That said, there’s something so special about family photos that makes them a true blessing to capture. Especially natural family photos, with the goal of capturing real and organic memories. On warm Friday afternoon, just before the storms from the weekend decided to roll in, I met Stuart, Rene and their beautiful daughter Estelle at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Estelle is such a cutie, full of joy and energy! It’s completely obvious just how much love there is between every member of this beautiful little family. We walked around the garden with some of her toys, played with bubbles and ran around trees. It was a beautiful afternoon! xx
Bridal Style Portrait Session at Kuitpo Forest
It's very easy for time to get away from you in this job, but every now and then you can't help but make the time to go on a photography adventure just for the sake of making something beautiful.
