Milly and Jimmy's Adelaide Oval and Carrick Hill Wedding

What a day this was! I'm not sure I've ever seen a bride smile so much as Milly did all day long. Despite flus, dead car batteries and adventures down slippery hills into hidden groves, this day was perfect. Milly and her bridesmaids got ready at Milly's mum's house with no shortage of bubbles, giggles and beautiful dresses. Then through warm sunshine we drove to Carrick Hill, which was so green, beautiful and an idyllic backdrop for their ceremony. Through happy tears and beautiful words they married in front of delighted family and friends all eager to celebrate and congratulate the happy couple.

Megan & Jonathan's Long Lunch Wedding at the Currant Shed, McLaren Vale

This would be one of my dream weddings. A long 5 course lunch starting with canapés and finishing with extra cake. (I am a massive foodie though, what can I say?) Megan and Jonathan were two of the most relaxed and excited people I've seen before a wedding ceremony. With tears of joy they married during the most heartfelt and lovely ceremony by Camille. Following their ceremony, group and family photos it was straight into the relaxed festivities! With lawn games, delicious canapés, two entrees, two mains, dessert and cake. Gorgeous floral arrangements on the one long table in the perfect weather outside. A buzz of laughter and conversation, beautiful wines and loving speeches.

Stacey & Ben's Carrick Hill Adelaide Wedding

Spring felt like it was out in full force last Saturday, with wild flowers blooming and blossoms covering the trees. As the day approached we were a little worried about the forecast for strong winds and rain, but on the day itself all worries melted away. There was not one drop of rain on our heads and we were blessed with beautiful warm sunshine all day long. It was a perfect day! How lucky is that!? Ben was right that morning when he SMS'd Stacey with the beautiful wedding day message "a perfect day for my perfect bride".

Minnie's Family Portraits at Wittunga Botanic Garden

I love to capture family portraits for Minnie and her family, and see little JJ grow! For this session I met Minnie and her family at the Wittunga Botanic Gardens, a little gem hidden in Blackwood. From bubbles to balloons, ducks, bike rides, games of soccer, cricket and more. It was an afternoon full of fun and laughter! Thanks for having me to capture these memories for you again Minnie! xx

Keziah & John's Country SA Wedding

I believe that South Australia is such a beautiful place. Gorgeous rugged coastlines, amazing wineries and absolutely stunning outback scenery in Country Flinders Ranges. When Keziah and John asked me to photograph their Blinman wedding at the Family's station north of Wilpena Pound I was beyond excited! I love the dusty red earth, rolling Flingers Ranges, dry creek beds, Emus, Roos and beauty of this place.

Anne & Matthew's Spalding Country Wedding

I love South Australia, every single part of it. So when I was asked to photograph a beautiful country wedding in Spalding, I was very excited! Not only did I have the joy of photographing Anne & Matthew's wedding, but I also got to photograph their maternity and newborn portraits for their gorgeous baby girl Gretchen over a year ago. Driving up to Spalding was a delight, with rich greens and amazing yellow canola lining the country side. It was definitely a gorgeous time to visit, and the perfect timing for a wedding!

Jake & Jess' Winter Wedding at Barn1890, McLaren Vale

We have had a very sunny Winter this year! And I really felt like Jake & Jess' wedding day was a great summary of this years winter weather. From overcast skies to brilliant bursts of warm sunshine. Home-baked pies instead of cake, an amazing bride who did so many of the personal touches (including all the pies and florals!) herself, and an adoring and fun loving groom. Jake & Jess' was just a little bit amazing, and the best way to get another busy wedding season rolling.

Megan & Jonathan's Kuitpo Forest Engagement Session

Megan, Jonathan, their gorgeous greyhound Barnsey and I nearly didn’t go ahead with our engagement session plans on Sunday. With a 95% chance of rain, and maybe a thunderstorm, there was a little hesitation as to whether we should brave the elements and potential muddy puddles. But I’m so so glad we did! Despite the ridiculously high chance of rain, I don’t think a single drop touched our heads. Instead, we were blessed with diffused, warm sunshine that glistened off the dewy leaves and pine tree bristles of Kuitpo Forest.

Liz & Dean's Adelaide Hill's Winter Elopement

This was one of those beautiful little elopements where everything felt as though it came together perfectly. And proof that despite the weather, your day can still be every beautiful thing it needs to be. Liz and Dean eloped at the gorgeous Bonney Berg Bed and Breakfast in the Adelaide Hills at Cromer, near Birdwood. Their beautiful host Bron made sure everything ran perfectly, witnessing their wedding, providing delicious meals and such a beautifully welcoming environment with access to their stunning property and grounds. She also let us borrow her floral arrangements to create a lovely, loose and rustic bouquet. I still cannot believe that the flower is a cabbage! How very cool.
