Tess & Nick's Intimate Adelaide Hills Elopement

Tess & Nick had a short and sweet holiday in our beautiful state last month, and took the opportunity to marry with an intimate, casual and stress free ceremony. Just the two of them, dressed up beautifully in the natural surrounds of a cosy bed and breakfast in the Adelaide Hills near Hahndorf. With beautiful blooms surrounding us during the ceremony, and plenty of places to stroll for portraits.

Jess and Charles' Winter Elopement at Burbrook Forest

Jess and Charles had an intimate and very casual Winter elopement at Burbrook Forest. Casual in the best kind of way of course! No form or fancy, just love and family (and delicious craft beers and wine). It was a record breaking snap freeze of a day, beneath the tall forest trees gently rocking in the breeze. And it was awesome.

Alice & Geoff's Intimate KI Elopement (with Our Wild Love Elopements)

An Our Wild Love Elopements Wedding. xo

Kangaroo Island is a gorgeous part of the world, and in South Australia we are so lucky that it is literally in our backyard! Kate and I loved visiting KI to capture this beautiful and intimate elopement for Alice, Geoff and their gorgeous little one Grace. (How cute is she!?) Their elopement was simple but special, and a beautiful celebration. (Along with a great chance to relax for the week in a beautiful place). The fancy 5 course meal put on after their special day by Kangaroo Island Source was a big standout, and perfect way to end the day.

Adam & Chris' Small, Relaxed and Fun Gay Wedding

Adam and Chris have a sign on their wall that says; “Love, Live, Laugh”, which was the perfect embodiment for their wedding. When I asked Adam and Chris to describe their wedding they called it low key, but when I asked what they were most looking forward to they said; everything! A day that was small but perfect, and full of smiles, tears, and celebration. Full of love, full of life, and full of laughter. All tied up with perfect shoes, favourite colours, close friends, and special family.

Taryn & Ale's Adelaide Registry Office Wedding at Chesser house

Taryn and Ale had a beautiful little Adelaide Registry office wedding ceremony at Chesser House in the Adelaide CBD. Along with their gorgeous little one, close friends and family. Kept simple, small and very personal. We even made a trip to the art gallery to recreate how they first met. Picture this, Ale walking slowly through sliding doors into the art gallery to see her, Taryn, and knowing right away, that she was the one for him. Such a sweet (and oh so rom-com) way to first meet!

Lisa and Bow's Adelaide Registry Wedding and Kuitpo Forest

I love how Lisa & Bow described their small Adelaide Registry Office wedding; as “ a starting point for the beginning of the next chapter of our lives as a family”. Being 34 weeks pregnant, and after many years together, it just felt like the right time for them to marry in their own small, intimate and relaxed way.

Adelaide Registry Office Wedding

Cameron & Caroline married in a very intimate, secret (& surprise!) wedding at the Adelaide Registry Office on Grenfell St. Nothing fancy, just love all around. It was one of those mostly sunny Adelaide Winter days, and despite some showers we were able to play with a bit of light on the streets of Adelaide. Which made me one very happy photographer, especially with two such lovely people and their beautiful love to celebrate.

Liz & Dean's Adelaide Hill's Winter Elopement

This was one of those beautiful little elopements where everything felt as though it came together perfectly. And proof that despite the weather, your day can still be every beautiful thing it needs to be. Liz and Dean eloped at the gorgeous Bonney Berg Bed and Breakfast in the Adelaide Hills at Cromer, near Birdwood. Their beautiful host Bron made sure everything ran perfectly, witnessing their wedding, providing delicious meals and such a beautifully welcoming environment with access to their stunning property and grounds. She also let us borrow her floral arrangements to create a lovely, loose and rustic bouquet. I still cannot believe that the flower is a cabbage! How very cool.

Megan & Andrew's Adelaide Botanic Park Elopement

Megan & Andrew's elopement on Friday was a beautiful and special day. We were a little worried about the weather, keeping a back up plan ready to go just in case. But in the end, the weather was incredibly beautiful. The big Morton Bay Fig trees held special meaning for Megan & Andrew, and also provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding. I love how their huge branches and roots enveloped the ceremony in a sweeping embrace. It did rain, but it was also sunny. This is a magical combination. Guests and family cuddled together under umbrellas as a light shower sprinkled down during the reception, the droplets glowing in the sun.

Nicolette & Daniel's Veale Garden Elopement

Think a wedding can't be planned in 3 weeks? Think again! :) After many years together, Nicolette and Daniel decided it was time to tie the knot, and they didn't want to wait to do it. With life happening all around them, Nicolette completing her Phd, and a move to Singapore imminent, they made time to commit to a life spent together, and a cherished little elopement in the Adelaide Veale Gardens.
