Manman & Louis' Traditional Tea Ceremony & Beautiful Stangate House Wedding
Sunday was a wonderful day! I shot one of my first traditional tea ceremonies, and it was so so good! A morning full of laughter, happiness, excitement, love, tradition and of course, tea and gifts. You couldn't help but laugh and smile all morning as the boys performed their games, make-up application and a food "treat" of all 5 flavour types. Sweet, salty, bitter... all in one delicious mouthful, yum. Manman looked so stunning in her beautiful red gown, and following the ceremonies we parted ways briefly as they headed on to Stangate House to set up for their wedding ceremony.
Courtney & Tristan's Beautifully Windy Beach Wedding
Saturday was the most gorgeous day for a wedding at a mostly sunny 23 degrees, even with the wind blowing a gale at Seacliff beach. As soon as Tristen saw his beautiful bride and his lovely daughter walking towards him, no one really seemed to notice the wind anymore. A few sweet tears were flowing, and the ceremony was finished with a seriously rocking first kiss and heartfelt cuddles.
Abbie & Hayden's Wedding at the Currant Shed
On Saturday with perfect spring weather Abbie & Hayden got married at the Currant Shed in stunning McLaren Vale. It was a relaxed and beautiful wedding, with gorgeously picked out details and brilliant service from the Currant Shed. Including a scrummy gourmet picnic hamper to take with us on a little portrait session at Shottesbrooke Winery.
Aimee & Brad's beautiful little family wedding in Balhannah
It's always so special to be involved in a wedding day, especially one so small and intimate as Aimee & Brad's wedding at the gorgeous Country Cottages of Balhannah. With only 15 people total, a mix of only their closest family, Aimee & Brad married in a stunning garden under a big beautiful tree. Surrounded by the buzz of busy bees, the gentle rustle of the trees, cows in the distance and a quiet little pond with splashing ducks.
Amy & Dan's Darling Backyard Wedding in Stirling
When you picture a backyard wedding, I'm sure most often you don't picture a backyard quite as picturesque as this wild, woolly and stunning Stirling backyard. Complete with beautiful streams, hilltop swings, nearby train track and flying fox! Amy & Dan put together a perfect little wedding in the backyard Amy often visited and played in as a child.
Dani & Lukes Perfect Willunga Wedding
On Sunday one of the best, chilled and loveable couples ever, Dani & Luke tied the knot in the beautiful grounds of the old Willunga Court House. Their sweet daughter was a special part of the whole day, which was full of genuine laugh and love. Every location these guys picked was just perfect!
Nadia & Joshua's Perfect Little Elopement
Today I captured what has to be one of my favourite weddings, and probably one with one of the smallest budgets too! In a little park on Main North Road, opposite Simple Weddings, without any music or fan fair and just a tiny group of their nearest and dearest Nadia and Josh married in the sweetest little secret ceremony. With their gorgeous little daughter Freya watching on and playing in the grass. It was such a perfect little elopement that I had goosebumps!
Amanda & Scott's Stunning Tanunda Wedding
Saturday's wedding was nothing short of stunning! From the super fun and beautiful bridal party to our frolics through vineyards and fields, to the amazing setup in Murray St Vineyards barrel room. The whole day felt relaxed, fun and simply perfect.
Tomo & Clarrie's Unique Sunnybrae Estate Wedding
Nothing could stop Tomo & Clarrie from getting married on Friday at the stunning Sunnybrae Estate. Not even a serious break in Clarrie's arm, resulting in a huge cast, 2 hours of sleep for Tomo and a release from hospital at just 10:30am the day of the wedding (pending an operation for pinning!) Despite the pain in his arm Clarrie was full of smiles and love on his wedding day. And as Tomo & Clarrie walked back down the aisle after having said I do, he wrapped a comforting arm around her as she shed tears of happiness and relief. So beautiful!
Olivia & Adam's Stunning Adelaide Library Wedding
On Saturday Olivia & Adam tied the knot in the most romantic, fantasy of a room; the Circulating Library at the State Library of SA. Surrounded by beautiful old books and in the most stunning gown with little details handmade by Olivia herself, their ceremony had a beautiful aura of calm and contentment. Outside the weather couldn't be called anything but perfect with a gorgeously warm sun brightening up the afternoon.
