Last month I shot a big, beautiful catholic wedding in several locations across Adelaide! From Craigmore to St Ignatius Church in Norwood, the Adelaide Park Lands, the Japanese Gardens and Glenelg Beach. We got so many beautiful photos, and I'm excited to share them with you! Late last month I had a beautiful, glamorous lingerie shoot on Sellicks beach. Sellicks is great for photo shoots! Not overly busy, long stretches of sand and calm ocean and gorgeous rocks and rock pools. Starting early made sure the weather and light were perfect, with a stunning dramatic sky!

Do you need professional photographer for your wedding? As a professional wedding photographer of course I’m going to say, yes!! :) But why?

When it comes to getting married there are soooo many decisions to make; location, dress, food, bridal party, flowers, celebrant, rings, invites, decorations, entertainment. But what is the best time to get married? This is a question I would answer based on the look you want your photos to have, what you want to spend and how comfortable you want to be on the day. I think time should be the first thing on your list of decisions to make when it comes to your wedding.

When I shoot engagements, I normally shoot portraits of just the couple celebrating their engagement at a garden or beach. But Tanya & Matt had a great idea of using my engagement package to shoot their engagement party!

This is the final post of my 3-part series on my recent road trip to the Flinders Ranges. In my previous post The Flinders Part 2, I talked about the best times of day to shoot using beautiful, natural light. And I said that the worst type of light for photography can be found on a bright sunny day; when the sun is high and bright and the sky is blue and free from clouds. And that's exactly the lighting we had on our final day.

This blog post follows on from my previous post "The Flinders 2013 Part 1", but stands alone as a post on one of my all time favourite things! Magic Hour. You may have heard several photographers talk about Magic Hour, and not been quite so sure what they were talking about. What particular hour of the day is magic? Why is it magic?

This weekend just gone I was lucky enough to have a break to travel up to the Flinders with great friend and photography buddy Maite Petrement. A 3 & 1/2 hour drive got us to Melrose in the Southern Flinders, and with no light left for the day all there was left to do was eat cheese, drink wine and plan our adventures for the following day.
