Frances & David's Kuitpo Wedding
The time between Frances & David’s engagement session in June last year and their wedding this Saturday gone just flew by! From the very start they had fallen in love with the private property at Kuitpo Forest, famous for a large, old tree. Both being very involved in the scouts, they wanted to do justice to the natural setting whilst bringing in touches from the scout hall. Such as the chairs and benches that perfectly blended in with the rustic setting of their ceremony.
Rachel & Leigh's South Australian Country Elopement
What a beautiful day this was! A wedding ceremony so intimate that the only witnesses were myself and the celebrants husband, just the right amount required to legally marry. <3 It was a very special day to be a part of, and in my mind the perfect South Australian Country elopement. Rachel & Leigh kept things simple, but perfectly sweet. With lovely coloured ribbons hanging from a tree making the backdrop for the ceremony. A beautifully bright bouquet, stunning boutique wedding dress and the Australian countryside complimenting the rustic setting of the Battunga Bed & Breakfast.
Chanel & Dale's Barrister's Block Winery Wedding
Chanel & Dale are good friends of one of my awesome couples, and I have no hesitation in saying now that they are also ranked up amongst my faves! Laid back but with awesome style, their wedding at Barrister's Block Winery was so so good. The boys had a morning mixed with laughter, beer and last minute ironing overlooking an amazing Blackwood view. And the girls prepared in the gorgeous onsite accommodation at Barrister's Block, with live music ringing out from their balcony and little ones running under foot.
Casey & Tom's Murray Bridge Wedding
On Sunday I went for a lovely drive to capture a lovely wedding at historic Murray Bridge. The day was beautifully warm, and their ceremony location the Wharf Hill Rotunda had a gorgeous view over the lake. As guests arrived the quiet view took on a joyous ambience with laughter ringing out from happy family and friends.
Jen & Trent's Grange Golf Club Wedding
Jen & Trent are such a sweet couple, and their wedding on Saturday was a great reflection of them! Relaxed, fun and not-fussy, but also real and beautiful. As a lover of golf, the Grange Golf Club was the perfect wedding venue for Trent. The classic and elegant style of the club also beautifully complimented Jen's colour scheme of blue, grey and silver. I also can't help but mention how amazingly green and trim the grass was, like lush carpet. A beautiful spot for a wedding ceremony, overlooked by tall trees and cool shade.
Jas & Matthew's Victor Harbour Elopement & the Bluff
One word popped to mind first when it came for me to describe Jas & Matthew, and that is awesome. They are both so laid back, adventurous, kind and loving. From each meeting with them leading up to their wedding to the day itself, every moment spent in their company was a joy. The emotion and energy as they got ready for their special wedding day, through to the moment just before they saw each other was truly palpable. As much as I love weddings, connections and love I think I hold myself together pretty well at wedding ceremonies. But these guys nearly had me in tears.
Lou & Ryan's Seppeltsfield Elopement
On sunny Friday morning I had the joy of witnessing and capturing Lou & Ryan's beautiful little elopement at Seppletsfield. Originally from opposite sides of the world, and with a beautiful little baby on the way, there was no sense in waiting to become husband and wife. Their ceremony was short, sweet and perfect, surrounded by good company, good wine and a stunning setting.
Nick & Sarah's Awesome Brooklyn Farm Wedding
What a wedding this was! Sarah and Nick told me that they were looking forward to just having the best day ever with all their close friends and family. That is was going to be so much fun! And they were not wrong at all. Their wedding day was full of love, laughter, good food, good conversation, dancing and such a cool vibe. Their choice of venue, Brooklyn Farm, provided the perfect rustic and relaxed backdrop. And their own personal touches, from the stunning wedding dress, paisley tie, gorgeous florals and awesome little touches (like a golden t-rex!) really made it their own day.
Sam & Aaron's Botanic Gardens Elopement (AKA: "Best Married Ever".)
I love photographing secret, little elopements in Adelaide. They have a beautiful intimacy that is so special to witness and capture. Sam & Aaron married with their 3 daughters, immediate family and closest friends as their only witness in a heart felt and personal ceremony by the gorgeous Kate from Blissful Ceremonies. (The other half of sister business Our Wild Love Elopements).
Maddie, Harry & Beau's Natural Family Portraits
Maddie & Harry's wedding was a very me memorable one for me, not just because of the crazy weather! But also because of how beautiful they and their family are inside and out. With genuine love, smiles and affection for each other. So when they said that they were visiting SA again with their beautiful new son Beau and Maddie's parents Sharon & Peter, I was very excited to be asked to capture some family portraits for them! :)
