Amber & Ken's Relaxed Myponga Wedding
On Saturday I took a lovely drive down South to Brooklyn Farm in the rolling hills of Myponga. Where I was greeted by the biggest smile from lovely bride Amber as, dressed in a towel and surrounded by loved ones, family, friends and her groom Ken, everyone put together their finishing touches for a heart felt wedding ceremony.
I'm fairly sure I didn't see the smile leave Amber's face or the love leave Ken's eyes for the entire day. It was one of the most heart warming and relaxed weddings I've had the pleasure of capturing.
Alex & Em's Gorgeous Anderson's Hill Winery Wedding
Saturday was a gorgeous day. With drizzles of rain, dramatic skies and a beautiful love story. As Alex & Em prepared for the day, there was a buzz of excitement and nervous anticipation. The big day was here in the blink of an eye, and after so much hard work.
Arriving at Anderson' Hill, I was greeted with dramatic, dark skies and spattering's of rain. "What's the plan?" I asked as the rain added spots to our outfits. With a big smile Alex said, we're going with the lawn! I'm sure it'll be great! And it was.
Lia's Natural Head shots
Last night I met an absolutely delightful soul, and captured some natural head shots for her and her publisher. Lia is a friend of a friend, and she has been described to me as a local female entrepreneur, bike shop owner, and published author of the awesomely funny “the Fortunes of Ruby White”. She is the BEST cook and loves gardening. Meeting her with glass of red in hand, beautiful friend by her side, and a smile that could light up an entire room, it was instantly evident that she is an amazing woman!
Kirsty & Peter's Gorgeous Chapel Hill Wedding
On Saturday I captured Kirsty & Peter's gorgeous Chapel Hill wedding, and it was an absolute treat! These two are so down to earth, so real and so kind, and their wedding had exactly the same vibe. True friends, loving family, a relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous yet simple Australian native styling and a heart warming authenticity.
Jen & Trent's Semaphore Beach Engagement Session xx
On lovely sunny Friday afternoon I caught up with the sweetest, cutest couple, Jen & Trent at Semaphore Beach for some engagement portraits. It was a gloriously sunny afternoon, and we took full advantage of Semaphores charm, from the beach, to the jetty, to the scrubby dunes and the old tram station. I even had a little play with my physics prism to add some rainbows. It was a great afternoon, and I cannot wait for their wedding in March! xx
Kristy & John's Australia Day "Backyard" Vineyard Wedding
Australia Day was very different for me this year. Instead of (just) enjoying a beer with friends whilst listening to the Triple J Hottest 100 Count Down, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful love story.
Tom & Casey's Warm Sunset Engagement Session
If you’re a follower of my blog, than you’ll know I’m repeating myself when I say I absolutely adore our South Australian coastline. Drive less than an hour south and you’re presented with rustic fields, rocky outcrops, rolling hills, pristine water, rugged coastline and oh so much adventure!
Kelly & Dane's Natural Family Portraits
On the weekend I visited Canberra! A place I'd spent part of my childhood growing up, and the now home of my sister and her family, as well as some old friends. Whilst visiting Canberra I was thrilled to catch up with two of those good friends; Kelly, Dane and their gorgeous little family at the National Botanic Gardens.
Maggie & Anthony's Blackwood Forest Engagement Session
Recently on a warm and partly sunny afternoon I had the pleasure of catching up with Maggie, Anthony and their fur baby Barry to capture some engagement portraits at the Blackwood Forest Recreation Park. The Blackwood forest recreation park is such a great spot for portraits, from it’s rolling fields covered in wild flowers to the old, tall pine forest the gently bent and creaked in the wind as it swayed high above our heads.
Lukas' Beautiful Adelaide Cathedral Christening
On a gloriously warm and sunny Sunday I had the pleasure of capturing a big moment in Lukas’ life, as well as his parents! Life is full of special moments, and Andreea loves to capture all of them in beautiful photography. So when she came back to Adelaide to christen her son Lukas, there was no doubt that it was a moment highly worthy of capturing.
