Baby Rafferty's Natural Family Portraits at Rustic South Aussie Farm
One of my favourite parts of this gorgeous job of mine is travelling our beautiful country and state to capture meaningful and natural portraits and stories. Recently I had a lovely drive to Port Julia on the Yorke Peninsula to capture some natural family portraits on Lauran, Kaleb and baby Rafferty’s rustic family farm.
Steph & Tys' Barrister's Block Winery Wedding
Steph and Tys had a small, intimate and relaxed wedding at the stunning Barrister’s Block Winery in the Adelaide hills. With gorgeously classic styling (including a very cool round arbour), gentle showers of rain, deer frolicking through the forest, and a warm reception in every sense of the word. It was a stunning day.
Dani & Simon's Mount Osmond Golf Club Wedding
Dani and Simon are two completely genuine people who are so much fun to be around. Their wedding reflected them well, being super fun and relaxing without loosing any of it’s beautiful formalities. From amazing speeches (replicating old dance moves), a lovely Church ceremony, classy horse and cart (and a convertible car of course), amazing vocal performance from tenor Tasso Bouyessis and soprano Annamaria Beni, sax and bongos accompanying the DJs dance floor tunes, and the gorgeous views and setting of Mount Osmond Gold Club. What more could you want?
Isaiah's Family Portraits at the Park and Beach
There's something so special about family, a bond worth cherishing and remembering. I adore capturing special moments between family. Like little Isaiah with his mum and dads at Brighton Beach and a nearby park.
Hannah & Simon's Port Willunga Wedding at the Court House and Russell's Pizza
I’ve been looking forward to Hannah & Simon’s wedding since their beautiful engagement session at Kuitpo Forest, (which just happened to be shared on Polka Dot Bride just one week after their wedding!) They chose one of my favourite venues for their wedding day, Russell’s Pizza, the perfect, quirky venue in stunning Port Willunga. Their day was a rustic and relaxed way to celebrate their love with the people they love the most, their friends and family.
Lisa and Bow's Adelaide Registry Wedding and Kuitpo Forest
I love how Lisa & Bow described their small Adelaide Registry Office wedding; as “ a starting point for the beginning of the next chapter of our lives as a family”. Being 34 weeks pregnant, and after many years together, it just felt like the right time for them to marry in their own small, intimate and relaxed way.
Tracey and Brendan's Surprise Wedding Engagement Party at Al Ru Farm
Tracey and Brendan had a very well executed surprise wedding (staged as an engagement party) at Al Ru Farm. We even had a false date and wedding venue alibi for any guest or family member who asked.
Bec & Brady's Golding Winery Wedding SA
Bec & Brady had a super fun wedding full of love and laughter. These two high school sweet hearts make an adorable couple, and capturing their bridal party portraits and first look before the ceremony meant we could dive straight into the party with their friends and family.
Jade & Bill's Glen Ewin Estate, Gate House Wedding
Jade and Bill had a beautifully classic wedding at the Gate House at Glen Ewin Estate on a beautiful late October day. With soft decor of whites and green, delicate touches, sparkling fairy lights and big glowing letters it was a feast for the eyes. I’m absolutely loving taking some extra portraits at night, especially when a sunset fails to shine through an overcast sky. And Jade and Bill? What more can I say, other than a beautiful couple beautifully suited to each other. Who got to spend a wonderful day together sharing their love with family and friends. As always, I’ll keep my words short and let the images do the talking.
Michelle & Richard's Adelaide Zoo Wedding in the Rain
Whether you believe rain on a wedding day symbolises good luck, fertility (many babies), a cleansing of the souls as they become one, or all of the above. There is no doubt in my mind that Michelle and Richard’s wedding at the Adelaide Zoo was full of all the good things.
