Claudia & Nug's Broken Hill Engagement Portraits

We all remember that record breaking hot day last week, nearly 47 degrees in Adelaide, the hottest day on record since the 30s! Kate and I (the celebrant I work with at Our Wild Love Elopements) decided to keep the record breaking heat going with a road trip to Broken Hill to capture Claudia and Nug’s beautiful wedding day. Prior to this though, we decided to do a a simple little engagement shoot with their beautiful daughter Livy. To keep our energy up for the big day, we decided to keep the session short and indoors. (How’s that for ironic? The sun keeping us inside, not the rain). Even so. The simple, little indoor session was perfect practice for the day to follow, and a sweet little, casual moment for the gorgeous family.

Melissa and Daniel went on an adventure to celebrate their 5 year wedding anniversary, with their awesome little dachshund Peggy. As part of their celebrations they had Em capture some natural and relaxed portraits at one of my favourite beaches, Maslin Beach. A lovely walk through an old quarry that leads to the dog friendly part of the beach and some gorgeous scenes.
