Extended Family Portraits at Port Willunga | Ng Family
Amanda got in touch ahead of the Ng family’s trip to South Australia, wanting to make the most of having everyone in one place. It had been a while since they’d had family photos with her parents, and her mum was especially keen to have a photograph with her granddaughter, Micah. A family holiday was a lovely opportunity to make it happen!
We started their extended family portrait session on Port Willunga beach, south of Adelaide, with bare feet in the sand and the old jetty posts behind them. Micah had cuddles with her grandparents, a wander with Mum and some very enthusiastic lifts from Dad! Then we headed to Martin’s Barn, just five minutes down the road, where the gorgeous old stone walls gave us a completely different backdrop.
Sessions like this are exactly why I’m so glad to offer the extended family upgrade. We had time for each couple and family to have their own photographs, as well as the whole group together, the grandparents with Micah, and Amanda with her brothers. I love being able to photograph all those connections, with room for the laughter and little moments along the way.
Three generations together for the Ng family’s portraits at Port Willunga beach and Martin’s Barn. Grandparent cuddles, laughter on the sand and time for each family to have photographs of their own.
