If you don’t get around to engagement portraits before your wedding, you can absolutely have a couple session afterwards! Kristine and Marti kept their elopement simple and intimate, and wanted natural photographs with plenty of room to be themselves. Their post-wedding couple portraits took us into the Adelaide Hills for a little exploring.

We started at an old railway tunnel near Mount Barker, with the entrance framing the two of them beautifully against the trees outside. There were cuddles, piggybacks and Marti scooping Kristine up, with plenty of laughing along the way. I love a session where we can make some gorgeous portraits and have a bit of fun getting there!

Then we headed to Bridgewater Mill, where the old stone buildings, ivy and beautiful waterwheel gave us plenty to work with. We wandered around the leafy surrounds, making time for a few quieter moments together as the sun headed down. And of course, we found another tunnel to finish the session. Apparently one wasn’t enough. Haha!
